Chapman Freeborn UAE celebrates 10th anniversary

3rd February 2009

The Chapman Freeborn Group is celebrating a decade of chartering success in the United Arab Emirates.

Chapman Freeborn Aviation Services, based in Sharjah and Dubai, has developed into one of the most successful air charter and aviation support companies in the Middle East, serving a diverse range of cargo and passenger clients.

To mark the milestone special guests and colleagues joined the Chapman Freeborn UAE team at an event held at Igloo, situated at the InterContinental Hotel Dubai where attendees were treated to cocktails and canapes and were entertained by a jazz quartet led by Rony Afif.

Chapman Freeborn Aviation Services launched in the UAE in January 1999 with an office and warehouse facility at the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone providing a range of cargo services to the freight forwarding industry, shippers, governments and relief agencies.

Covering the GCC region and beyond, Chapman Freeborn's activities have grown significantly over the last decade and the company successfully branched out into other market areas such as passenger group movements and VIP air charters.

Reflecting the expansion of its business, a second branch in Dubai Airport Free Zone opened its doors in 2004, and the UAE team now consists of more than 60 staff.

Chapman Freeborn has 32 offices in 22 countries across five continents and coordinated more than 5,000 cargo and passenger charters last year.
