Chapman Freeborn establishes presence in Romania

Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has welcomed the expansion of its global network with the addition of a new operation in Romania.
The Bucharest-based team will work closely with Chapman Freeborn's worldwide offices to establish a strong chartering presence in Romania and neighbouring Republic of Moldova.
The new venture with be headed by Hans Luca, who previously worked as a charter broker for Chapman Freeborn in Ostend, Belgium.
Bordering six other countries, Romania is a hub for international economic exchange in Europe. It has been part of the EU since 1 January 2007 and has seen strong economic growth in recent years.
The country's main cargo exports include industrial machinery, electrical and electronic equipment, automotive parts, oil and gas equipment, software, pharmaceuticals and agricultural products.
Tourism is one of the most dynamic and fastest developing sectors of the economy, fuelling demand for passenger charters, and has the potential to compete with other popular European holiday destinations such as Bulgaria, Italy and Greece .
Chapman Freeborn has 32 offices in 22 countries across four continents and coordinated more than 4,500 cargo and passenger charters last year.
