Chapman Freeborn listed in Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250

The Chapman Freeborn Group of Companies has been ranked number 162 in the Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250 league table of Britain's biggest mid-market private companies.

The global air charter specialist is in its fourth decade of providing air charter and aircraft leasing solutions for the movement of both passengers and cargo.

With 32 offices in 22 countries, its global network boasts a wide ranging customer base including governments, aid agencies, freight forwarders, major corporations and VIP clients.

Chairman and founder Christopher Chapman remains at the controls and saw like for like sales lift off to £217.5m in 2006, even though a division was sold at the end of 2005.

Other names featured in this years list include companies such as Flybe, Dyson, Manchester United and McLaren F1. Together the 250 companies generate 5% of Britain's GDP and account for 1.5% of the workforce.
