Chapman Freeborn France Appoints Yannis Gerault as General Manager
16th April 2008
Chapman Freeborn Airchartering is delighted to announce the appointment of Yannis Gerault as General Manager in France, with responsibility for the day-to-day oversight and strategic development of the company’s offices in Paris and Marseille.
Yannis joins Chapman Freeborn with over 15 years experience in the cargo and aviation industry, having previously specialised in time-sensitive aircraft part and automotive logistics for both Schenker and GEFCO.
His appointment further underlines Chapman Freeborn’s position in the French cargo charter market, where the client roster already includes leading freight forwarders and logistics providers, as well as NGOs and other relief organisations.
In addition to the cargo operations, his managerial expertise will also extend into overseeing the company’s growing passenger division in France which specialises in both executive and larger commercial aircraft charters.
He joins Chapman Freeborn just in time for the annual company conference, to be held in Marseille 25-27 April, attended by employees from across Chapman Freeborn’s global network of 36 offices in 20 countries.
Carol Norman, Managing Director of Chapman Freeborn France said:
“We are delighted that Yannis is bringing his considerable management skills and experience to Chapman Freeborn. The appointment highlights Chapman Freeborn’s expanding charter broking operations in France."
Yannis will be primarily based in Chapman Freeborn's Paris office:
