Chapman Freeborn Voted"Air Cargo Charter Broker of The Year" at the ACW World Air Cargo Week Awards in Munich

19th June 2007

Chapman Freeborn are proud and delighted to announce that we were voted"Air Cargo Charter Broker of The Year" at the 2007 ACW World Air Cargo Awards held last week as the finale of the Air Cargo Europe Exhibition in Munich.

This award, voted for by worldwide clients such as forwarders and logistics companies as well as suppliers, is recognition for our continuing hard work, professionalism and integrity that we demonstrate across our global office network each and every day.

Global Cargo Director, Russi Batliwala was thrilled to receive the Award on behalf of the whole CF Group and comments"I was humbled and honoured to accept this Award on behalf of all of my colleagues across the CF group worldwide. It means a lot to receive such recognition from both clients and suppliers and as such I would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote for us.

"When Chris Chapman formed Chapman Freeborn in 1973, the goal wasn't to be the biggest company in the air charter industry but to be the best. This award is a great way of showing us that we are going in the right direction."

Obviously, Russi and his colleagues who also attended - Group MD Carol Norman, Sales Manager Lesley Cripps, Director Business Development Pierre Van Der Stichele and from our Frankfurt office, Martin Ziegler – were delighted and celebrated well.

However, in true Chapman Freeborn style, it is also our plan to have an inhouse celebratory party in Frankfurt on Saturday 23rd June. This party has been long planned to celebrate Russi’s 20 years of service with the Chapman Freeborn group, but now there is an additional cause for celebration. Carol Norman adds:"this award is also a real tribute to Russi and the inspirational leadership he has provided to the cargo team over the past 20 years".

So, thanks again to everyone that voted for us and we look forward to continuing to build new global relationships and provide creative and competitive solutions for the remainder of 2007 and beyond.
