New Year - New Office! Chapman Freeborn Canada Opens For Business!
2nd January 2007
Chapman Freeborn has continued it’s resolution to expand with the latest office opening in Toronto, Canada. The new enterprise there will be managed by the latest addition to the Chapman Freeborn team, Ehab Matta.
After having spent some induction time with his new international colleagues elsewhere in the Chapman Freeborn network such as the UK head office, Frankfurt and Fort Lauderdale, Ehab was able to declare the new Toronto office open for business today, 2nd January 2007!
Ehab, like many CF team-mates is truly international and brings with him a vast amount of relevant personal and professional experience. He was born and grew up in Egypt, then moved to Nairobi, Kenya where he completed his university education. His career in aviation then started when he joined Evergreen Airlines in 1999 in NBO until 2003 when he relocated to Toronto. There he joined Aviatrans, an Aviation Operations Management company providing among other things operational support for large-scale Hajj projects. He speaks several languages including English and Arabic and is a Canadian citizen.
The initial focus of our new Canadian venture will be to consider this vast market as a number of territories and tackle them simultaneously and in conjunction with sales personnel from Chapman Freeborn USA and elsewhere in the group.Initial areas of focus will be the Oil & Gas, Automotive and Mining industries and their respective cargo chartering possibilities.Ehab will also further consolidate our existing relationships with Canadian carriers and those international airlines operating into Canada at a local level.
Although the expansive cargo market is at this point the priority, it is also an objective to further develop the executive business, an area in which our US operations in Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale already undertake a great deal of activity.
Ehab comments:"I am delighted to have joined such an extensive and respected group as Chapman Freeborn. I have worked with CF as both client and supplier for a number of years now and I am very pleased to now be in the middle, taking the Canadian operation forward.
"I am very excited about the possibilities for CF Canada and I look forward to all the possibilities that the New Year will bring for us in Canada!"
