Chapman Freeborn Personnel"Czech" Into Prague For Group Gathering!

24th May 2006

Staff from all over the Chapman Freeborn world recently got together for a weekend gathering in Prague.  Arranged by the CF Prague team, personnel from as far afield as the USA, UAE, Singapore, Russia and of course, all over Europe, descended on the Hotel Sen in Senohraby on the outskirts of Prague for presentations and meetings, team building activities such as a five-a-side football tournament, quad biking, laser shooting, and of course much partying.

Chapman Freeborn Personnel “Czech” Into Prague For Group Gathering!

As staff arrived from our international offices on Friday evening 21st April, the party swelled with air charter brokers from CF’s Air Chartering arm, as well as personnel from other group companies such as Paragon Global Flight Support and CF’s repping and station management operation, Air Dispatch.  As on previous group get-togethers, everyone present appreciated the opportunity to meet with their international colleagues, put faces to voices and e-mails and catch up with old friends.  In total more than 150 people attended.

Saturday 22nd April saw a boat tour of Prague by day in the glorious sunshine and in the evening, yet another party when Group Chairman Chris Chapman took the chance to make a number of presentations to long serving members of staff – some of whom have been with the group for more than 20 years – and for all to laugh at some more amusing exploits such as the most interesting charter – this award going to CF Nice’s Herve Marin who spent more than 40 hours aboard an ATR72 as the trouble-shooting flight rider earlier on this year!

Chris comments, “This get together also offers a great opportunity for me to thank all of our team for the hard work that they put in month after month, around the clock – that’s why these get-togethers are about having fun too. I am proud of our personnel and all the work that they put in on behalf of our diverse client base.

“We’ve had a great couple of years since our last group party in Belgium with new offices and more staff and I was pleased to make further announcements and introduce more new personnel in Prague.”

These announcements included the imminent opening of new chartering offices in Istanbul, Turkey and Hong Kong; new personnel in the executive charter department in our Fort Lauderdale and Moscow offices, plus new sales personnel in the UK and Italy.

Chris concluded: “The informal Chapman Freeborn motto has always been “work hard, play hard” and we certainly managed both! In our thirty three plus years of being in business, we’ve had some great parties and thanks to Robert Cetl and the rest of the CF Prague team, this one will be remembered as one of the best.”.
