Chapman Freeborn goes the X-tra mile for X-MEN 2 Premiere
30th April 2003
When a major film studio needed to fly journalists and movie stars around
Europe for the premiere of the exciting new movie, X-Men 2, they knew that
none other than the world’s largest air charter broker, Chapman Freeborn,
were up to the job. When the flight was booked just last week, the
studio were confident that CF would find the right aircraft for the itinerary
and passengers and that the aircraft would be proudly displaying the specially
produced X-Men 2 decals.
Our
VIP Department arranged one Falcon 50EX to ferry actor Hugh Jackman, who
plays lead character Wolverine from Prague to Venice to Berlin and then
on to London in time for the premiere of the movie, last week, 24th April
in Leicester Square.
And two Falcon 2000s were also used to fly journalists, radio DJs, film
critics and some very lucky competition winners from Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam,
Rome and Berlin to the premiere.
The aircraft was liveried for the trip, with two personnel flown specially
out to Geneva to supply and fit the X-Men 2 graphic decals to the aircraft
(see picture), providing extra promotion for the movie at airports around
Europe. The crew also wore X-Men 2 leather jackets. In
addition, the lucky passengers were given exclusive items of merchandise
on board including t-shirts and caps and the coveted jackets.
For more information on the film, which stars Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry,
Anna Paquin, Famke Janssen, Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart see www.x-men-the-movie.com.
X-Men 2 will be released in the UK on 1st May.
We hear that all passengers enjoyed the X-ceptional Chapman Freeborn service!
