Chapman Freeborn makes Top Track 250 list for eighth time
Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has been ranked 32nd in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 league table of Britain’s biggest mid-market private companies.
The global aircraft charter specialist has featured in the list every year since 2005 and it is the second consecutive year that the company has achieved a position in the top 50.
According to the Sunday Times, despite the tough economy, half of the companies on the league table improved their operating profit margin in their latest year, and 95% increased their sales to a combined £77 billion, equivalent to 5% of GDP.
UK-headquartered Chapman Freeborn – which saw sales reach £456.7m in 2011 – will soon celebrate its 40th anniversary and continues to lead the way in the international aircraft charter broker industry
The company’s trend of breaking new ground continued this month with the launch of a new on board courier (OBC) team in Hong Kong.
