Chapman Freeborn and Air Market Kft end partnership in Hungary
Global aircraft charter specialist Chapman Freeborn and Air Market Kft. have announced they are to mutually end their business partnership in Hungary and the Czech Republic, the countries in which they have worked in association since 1996.
Effective 31ST January 2013, Budapest-based Chapman Freeborn Air Market Kft will become a wholly independent company, renamed as CEAS Central European Aviation Solutions Ltd.
Its sister company Air Dispatch s.r.o will also become an independently owned business in the Czech Republic, renamed CEAS Central European Aviation Solutions Ltd.
CEAS Central European Aviation Solutions Ltd will continuously provide services including airline General Sales Agency (GSA), airline ticketing and airline representation as well as aircraft chartering in Hungary and in the Czech Republic, while existing centralised load control (CLC) services will be transferred to the ownership of Chapman Freeborn subsidiary Air Dispatch CLC, based in Prague.
Peter Joarder, Chapman Freeborn’s chief financial officer, said:
“We have successfully worked in partnership with Air Market Kft for a number of years, but the time was right to shake hands, maintain our close relationship but develop independently from each other moving forward.”
Csaba Bálint, managing partner of Air Market Kft, said:
“We have worked as part of the Chapman Freeborn group for over 15 years and leave on good terms. We now look forward to continuing our activities as CEAS Central European Aviation Solutions Ltd in its own right and with close co-operation with Chapman Freeborn Group.”
