EYOS’ launch trip in 2014 is a 10-night expedition departing from Bodo, Norway and ending up in the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard. The expedition begins meandering along the most breathtaking coastline and fjords that Norway has to offer, where guests will have the opportunity to paddle in silent fjords, hike high above the water or explore quaint fishing villages. After a visit to the isolated and uninhabited Bear Island. you'll arrive at the true Arctic when you reach the ice packs of Svalbard. There, you'll spend your days hiking through the tundra, watching for whales and walrus, and scanning for a thrilling encounter with a polar bear. While every itinerary is bespoke and adjusted according to your preferences, a sample itinerary can be found here
Additional expeditions throughout 2014 are likely to include Greenland, Iceland, the Antarctic and even a crossing of the Northwest Passage – a route that only around 200 vessels have successfully completed.
